International Night celebrates the international diversity at Portland State University and offers a great opportunity for the PSU students a, families, faculty, staff and the greater Portland community to experience the different traditional costumes, food and music! Over 800 people attend this large event that includes students from over 88 countries and covers three floors of the Smith Memorial Student Union Building!

Portland is often thought of as a national leader when it comes to sustainability. The effort toward the equity aspect of sustainability often pales in comparison to the environmental and economic aspects. In order to have a movement that is beneficial and relevant to everyone, we need to find new ways of doing things to avoid perpetuating the dominant oppressive cycle of our past and present.
