When Ailene Farkac appeared in a Eugene criminal court in 2007 for dealing drugs, she figured she'd get probation and beat it home in time to pick up her six-year-old son from school.

She figured wrong.

The judge sentenced Farkac to three years in prison, a comeuppance for a drug-addicted mom who had already missed pieces of her kids' lives by slinging dope.

Portland State University Vice President appointed President/CEO of PSU Foundation

The Portland State University Foundation Board of Trustees unanimously approved the appointment of Françoise Aylmer as president and chief executive officer of the Foundation at their June meeting.  

PSU Foundation elects four new trustees

The Board of Trustees of the Portland State University Foundation has elected four new trustees and officers for 2014-2015.

The following trustees joined the board on July 1: Al Barkouli, chairman and chief executive officer of David Evans and Associates, Inc.; Keren Brown Wilson, founder and senior advisor for Concepts in Community Living, Inc.; Mary Dick, director of administrative services for TigerStop LLC; and Barre Stoll, retired psychologist.
