A Place at the Table shows us how hunger poses serious economic, social and cultural implications for our nation, and that it could be solved once and for all, if the American public decides – as they have in the past – that making healthy food available and affordable is in the best interest of us all. This powerful documentary sheds light on the issue by weaving interviews with experts and advocate such as Jeff Bridges and chef Tom Colicchio with the intimate portraits of three people struggling with food insecurity. "The film explains with devastating simplicity why so many go hungry in a country with more than enough food to go round." — London Evening Standard
Come early to grab classic McMenamins food and drink. Stay for a conversation following the film to learn more about what’s happening in Oregon to solve the hunger crisis and how you can get involved.

Partners for a Hunger-Free Oregon is a non-profit that believes ending hunger is possible, and has a plan.
We envision an Oregon where everyone is healthy and thriving, with access to affordable, nutritious and culturally appropriate food. To bring that vision into reality we raise awareness about hunger, connect people to nutrition programs, and advocate for systemic changes that end hunger before it begins.
