NEW—Miller Grant: Request for Proposals: Sustainability Planning Grants, 2009–2010

The Center for Sustainable Processes and Practices at Portland State University seeks planning proposals that identify and articulate an integrated approach for the University to address core sustainability problems and opportunities.

These proposals will elicit participation from constituents across campus, and should suggest a pathway forward for the participants and opportunities as defined by the proposal. Proposals selected will receive up to $10,000.

Leadership in Undergraduate Research Awards: Sustainability Track

In 2009-2010, the annual "Scholarly and Creative Activity Grants for Undergraduates" funding program will include a sustainability track. Awards of up to $1,000 are available for selected projects.

The program, with funding from the Center for Sustainable Processes and Practices and the Miller Foundation, is intended to recognize and support leading undergraduate students who are pursuing sustainability research and coursework. Deadline for applications: November 30, 2009.

Miller Grant: 2009-2010 Faculty Sustainability Travel and Conference Awards

The Center for Sustainable Processes and Practices (CSP2) is pleased to announce the Miller Grant Faculty Sustainability Travel and Conference Awards for the 2009-2010 Academic Year. It is the intent of the CSP2 to recognize outstanding work of PSU faculty and staff in the area of sustainability by helping to fund their travel to sustainability conferences and events.

Round 1 of funding will cover travel between November 1, 2009, and January 3, 2010. APPLICATIONS ARE NOW CLOSED (Deadline was October 20, 2009).

 

Miller Grant: 2009-2010 Student Sustainability Travel and Conference Awards

The Center for Sustainable Processes and Practices (CSP2) is pleased to announce the Miller Grant Student Sustainability Travel and Conference Awards for the 2009-2010 Academic Year. It is the intent of the CSP2 to recognize outstanding work of PSU undergraduate and graduate students in the area of sustainability and contribute to their professional development by helping to fund their travel to distant places for scholarly purposes.

Round 1 of funding will cover travel between November 15, 2009, and January 15, 2010. APPLICATIONS ARE NOW CLOSED (Application deadline was October 30, 2009).
