Recyclemania

Recyclemania 2007 has come to a close and the winners have been announced. PSU shined again this year in the Waste Minimization category, finishing 13th out of 66 schools. For PSU's results in all categories, open the scoreboard below.

What is Recyclemania?

Recyclemania is a recycling competition between colleges and universities across the country. Schools compete in contests to see which school can recycle the most, produce the least amount of waste, and have the highest recycling rate. The winner receives the ultra-sweet Recycleman Trophy:

2006 Results

Portland State University placed 19th in the Overall Recycling Category with a 26.76% recycling rate and 4th in the Waste Minimization Category, where PSU community members averaged 38.48lbs waste/person over the course of the 10-week competition.
