Green Campus Tour: Planned Oregon Sustainability Center
The tallest living building in the world is planned for this location in the heart of the SoMa EcoDistrict. When complete, the OSC will meet the Cascadia Region Green Building Council’s Living Building Challenge to surpass all existing green building certifications and be completely carbon-neutral. The OSC will collect and reuse all of its own water, generate all of its own energy, process all of its own waste, and serve as a collaborative hub for government, academic, and private sector innovation.
