  • Graduate Sustainability Certificate - This graduate certificate (in process of approval) offers an integrated series of post-baccalaureate courses that comprise a multidisciplinary study of the environmental, social, and economic dimensions of sustainability. Upcoming PSU Lectures

  • "Feedback Mechanisms in the Urban Environment" - Friday, May 9 from 11-12. Dr. David Sailor will present his research on how heat and air quality episodes and public advisories impact human behavior...and vice versa. For more details, please visit the Sustainability Research Forum.
  • "Community Resilience: A Key Indicator of Social Sustainability" - Friday, May 9 from 12:30-2:30. Dr. Kristen Magis reviews the development of the Resilience of Forest Dependent Communities measurement protocol by the U.S. Roundtable on Sustainable Forests.   • "Portland Area Ecosystems" - Friday, May 30 from 10-11. Dr. Alan Yeakley will discuss the ecological changes in riparian ecosystems in Portland area cities experiencing population growth, and the relative effectiveness of varying municipal efforts to manage them. Internships and Positions
