Event: "Whither Our Economy?" A Panel Discussion on the Financial Crisis - Part II

Description: A panel discussion of the Oregon economy with the State of Oregon Economist, Tom Potiowsky; PSU Professor John Walker; and PSU Associate Professor Hiro Ito. (see attached PDF)

Tom Potiowsky, PSU Professor of Economics and Oregon State Economist, will review the state of the current Oregon economy. Is the recession coming to an end in Oregon?

Hiro Ito, Associate Professor of Economics at Portland State University, will address the state of the economic crisis at both the national and international levels.

John Walker, Professor of Economics at Portland State University, will consider the crisis from a historical standpoint. Is there any relation between the current economic crisis and the Great Depression
