Portland Spectrum

Portland Spectrum (previously Portland Spectator) provides an opportunity for students to explore, in-depth, topics of interest both on campus and off. A full color magazine, it boasts everything from biting editorials about the latest political issues as well as reviews of the best places to eat on campus. Portland Review

Publishing prose, poetry, and art since 1956, The Portland Review is an established literary journal based out of Portland State University. Students seeking publishing opportunities can submit their work online or gain editing experience via open positions. Pathos Literary Magazine

Student poets and writers of all sorts have filled the pages of Pathos Literary magazine since 2006. With an emphasis on student work, they seek to show only the best of what Portland State has to offer. Entirely dependent on student submissions, work can vary from term to term. The Portland State University Rearguard is a progressive, alternative publication supporting campus and community diversity.
