Cimone Schwoeffermann is one of the newest members of the School of Social Work Student Services Team. As our Recruitment and Retention Specialist Cimone is here to make sure students have resources at the School of Social Work, and around campus.
Social Justice, Diversity & Inclusion
The Social Justice Diversity and Inclusion Committee is comprised of Faculty, Staff and Students who are charged with promoting and overseeing the implementation and annual updating of the Faculty Action Plan for Social Justice, Inclusion and Diversity.
Cultural Competence and Diversity Council (CCDC)
The CCDC is comprised of Faculty, Staff, Students, and Community members who are committed to promoting cultural competency and diversity in the practice of social work, as well as social justice, by engaging the collaboration and participation of the SSW and the community it serves. The CCDC is available to provide advocacy, mentorship, and overall support to students.

Global Diversity and Inclusion Office
Global Diversity and Inclusion offers support, information and advice to the Portland State community on how to work to make our campus a welcoming place for everyone. We play an important role in campus leadership promoting equity and inclusion.
Diversity and Multicultural Student Services (DMSS)
The DMSS strives to provide structured support services to student populations whose access, retention, academic success, and graduation are most challenged by historical and contemporary inequities.
Multicultural Center (MCC)
The MCC creates a community for students through multicultural programming in an environment conducive to enhancing student success through collaborative cultural, educational and social experiences.
