Professional Background & Interests:

Matthew McQuesten is a full-time lecturer in the Mathematics Department at the University of Portland. He worked as a research coordinator at the Portland VA Medical Center from 2008 to 2011, investigating ways to help veterans with hepatitis C to reduce alcohol consumption, including a comparative therapeutic trial and an efficacy and safety trial of the drug baclofen versus a placebo. He has published in the area of hepatitis C and HIV coinfection and substance use disorder comorbidities.
