Linda
has been a practicing Speech-Language Pathologist for over 20 years. She has worked with a variety of client
populations in outpatient, acute care, inpatient rehabilitation and extended
care facilities. For the first 15 years of her career, she worked as a
generalist with a variety of neurogenic communication and swallowing disorders,
pediatric articulation and language disorders and adult and pediatric voice
disorders. Over the past 5 years, Linda
has worked in the Northwest Clinic for Voice and Swallowing at Oregon Health
and Sciences University specializing in adult voice disorders. Her position at OHSU allows her to
participate in clinical care as well as voice related research. Her clinical
interests are specifically related to patients with voice disorders including
functional and organic voice disorders, neurogenic voice disorders, and Vocal
Cord Dysfunction. She is a certified
LSVT clinician and has worked extensively with patients with Parkinson disease.
