Ellen Reuler has been on the faculty at PSU
since 1990 and has served as Clinic Director since 1996. As Clinic Director, her primary
responsibility is the coordination of clinical practica for the graduate
students. This involves both management
of clinical operations and facilitation of clinical education. She is directly involved in clinical
supervision and teaching related to on-campus clinics and also in developing
partnerships for off-campus practica site in the community. Her areas of expertise in the clinic are
articulation/phonological, language and stuttering disorders in children. Ms. Reuler also serves as the
Post-Baccalaureate advisor for the Department of Speech and Hearing Sciences. She is an ASHA Fellow and has served on the
Council of Academic Programs in Communication Sciences and Disorders Executive
Board, on the ASHA Legislative Council and Speech-Language Advisory Council,
and is currently on the ASHA Council for Clinical Certification. She has also served on the Oregon
Speech-Language-Hearing Association Executive Board. She currently serves on the PSU Teacher
Education Committee and is Chair of the Consortium for Professional Education,
which serves as an advisory body to the PSU Graduate School of Education.
