        Background

        Dr. Amy Costanza-Smith’s teaching, research and clinical interests include language development and disorders witha focus on assessment and family support. At PSU, she teaches undergraduate and graduate classes and supervises the Pediatric Assessment Clinic. Before joining the SPHR faculty, Dr. Costanza-Smith served as an Assistant Professor of Speech Language Pathology and the Training Director for the Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental and Related Disabilities program at the Child Development and Rehabilitation Center at Oregon Health and Science University.  She has over 15 years of experience evaluating children with development disabilities on interdisciplinary teams.
