Camp Counselor Sessions

Session dates for summer 2010:

  •   Session I June 19-July 2, 2010
  •   Session II July 3 - July 16, 2010
  •   Session III July 17-July 30, 2010
  •   Session IV JULY 31-August 13, 2010
  •   Counselor Orientation is on May 22, 2010

 

General Session Overview

Counselors must commit to the pre-camp training in May, as well as two weeks at the camp. The two weeks at the camp consist of a schedule similar to the following:

Day Week 1
Saturday

Counselors arrive at camp by 10:00AM and stay through Friday evening.
Sunday

Counselors train. Campers arrive between 3-5pm.
Monday

Everyone on site at the camp.
Tuesday

Everyone on site at the camp.
Wednesday

Everyone on site at the camp.
Thursday

Everyone on site at the camp.
Friday

Campers leave camp. Counselors depart after going over evaluation with supervisor (afternoon). Counselors return to camp on Sunday.
Day Week 2
Saturday

Counselors at home, relaxing.
Sunday

Counselors back at camp by arranged time (about noon). New set of campers arrive between 3-4pm.
Monday

Everyone on site at the camp.

Tuesday

Everyone on site at the camp.
Wednesday

Everyone on site at the camp.
Thursday

Everyone on site at the camp.
Friday

Campers leave camp. Counselors depart after going over evaluation with supervisor (afternoon). Counselors do not need to return to camp.
