Portland State University understands it is important for our students to
focus on their program of study without the concerns of a cumbersome financial
aid process. This comprehensive web site was designed to assist students
in processing all application forms online, calculating financial aid estimates,
and even checking loan status! There are a few things students should know
before applying for financial aid:
- Normal processing
time is 3-5 months, so start early! Your Financial aid file cannot
be reviewed until you are officially admitted to the university.
- Go to our
Admissions page for necessary admission forms and deadlines for all
Special Education programs.
- Enrollment:
The type of financial aid available to you depends upon your status
(graduate full time is 9-16 credits and part time is 5-8 credits).
Go to our Programs & courses page to learn about credit requirements
for each special education program.
