The Extended CLRAS is one component of the Oregon Statewide Assessment and is a collaboration between Portland State University's Department of Special Education and the Oregon Department of Education.

The Extended CLRAS was developed to meet the assessment needs of students whose IEPs address functional living skills. Oregon teachers become qualified to administer the assessment via interactive training programs and face-to-face trainings. The Extended CLRAS Data Entry and Reporting System allows assessors to conduct an entire student assessment online and obtain a student report immediately. Assessors are also able to access previous assessment data and reports to evaluate progress and plan instruction.
