Tufts University Assistant Professor, tenure-track, Islamic Art and Architecture
Assistant Professor, tenure-track, Islamic Art and Architecture. To teach and advise undergraduates, Masters in Art History, and Masters of Fine Arts students; beginning fall semester 2011. Focus upon Islamic art and architecture, 7th-15th centuries. To teach four courses per year at undergraduate and graduate levels; plus contribute several lectures to team-taught survey class in the history of art. The department offers undergraduate majors in Art History and in Architectural Studies, plus M.A. programs in Art History and Art History/Museum Studies. Ph.D., teaching experience, and evidence of scholarly potential or accomplishment required.
