Postdoctoral Research Fellow

* International Centre for Muslim and non-Muslim Understanding, Hawke Research Institute
* 3 year contract, up to 6 positions
* Total remuneration package: $80K - $95K

The newly established International Centre for Muslim and non-Muslim Understanding has multiple Postdoctoral Research Fellow positions available for aspiring researchers who will contribute to the Centre's growth and make significant research impact within the field.  
 
You will be responsible for designing and conducting high quality research, engaging in the dissemination of new knowledge, and facilitating discussion and debate about improving understanding between Muslim and non-Muslim communities. To be successful in the role, you will hold strong research, organisational and interpersonal skills. You will also have a demonstrated ability to attract research grants, build relationships with government, industry and community organisations and effectively promote research to a wide audience. The ideal candidate will have a doctorate in social sciences or a closely related discipline together with knowledge of poststructuralism and/or postcolonial studies, and experience of researching topics relating to interests of the Centre.
