Assistant Professor of the international politics of the Middle East -

The Department of Political Science at the University of Nevada, Reno is
soliciting applications for a tenure-track full-time appointment at the rank
of assistant professor to begin in the fall semester of 2011. We are looking
for an applicant whose primary area of expertise is focused on the
international politics of the Middle East. Related areas of specialization
covering international conflict, political violence, human rights and US
Foreign Policy would be valued in the applicant evaluation process. The
selected applicant will be expected to teach at all levels (lower-division
undergraduate, upper-division undergraduate and graduate M.A./Ph.D.) so
familiarity with research methods is expected. Applicants must also show
potential for research publication.
