DUII

DUII - Driving under the influence of intoxicants.

SLS can assist some student charged with driving under the influence of intoxicants (DUII).

DUII is defined as:

  1. Driving while in - in these cases it does not matter what the defendant's blood alcohol content is. If the state can prove “impairment" due to "intoxicants".
  2. If the defendant is over 21, driving with a blood alcohol content of .08 or more.
  3. If the defendant is under 21, driving and consumed any alcohol - even a drop!

DUIIs can be serious and require legal help. Some defendants may be eligible for Diversion.
