Proctored Correspondence/Distance Exams

Testing Services is available to students and community members who are in need of proctoring services for distance education. We offer administration and proctoring services for both computer based and paper/pencil exams that originate in the United States. As a member of the Consortium of College Testing Centers (CCTC), Testing Services adheres to the CCTC guidelines and practices.

Lockers available in Testing Services

A $30 proctoring fee, paid at time of registration, is required for each exam taken.

Approval for Proctoring

Testing Services must review proctoring instructions for each exam prior to agreeing to serve as a proctor. Proctoring information should be sent to us directly for review before you schedule a testing appointment. Contact Testing Services for proctoring approval and proctor information. The examinee is responsible for communication with their home institution regarding proctoring and arranging the delivery of testing materials. Testing Services can assist with filling out proctor verification forms.

We do not administer exams that require:

  • Special software downloads.
  • Use of lockdown browser.
  • Timed warnings.
  • Verbal instructions.
  • Wireless internet access for student computers.

Appointments

Appointments are required and available as space permits. You must schedule a Proctored Correspondence/Distance exam through our online scheduling system at least two days prior to your desired testing date.
