Academicians’ Ramadan Dinner 2012

What: We invite you to enjoy homemade Turkish cuisine.  The program will include presentations about Ramadan, Turkey and Turkish Culture.

About Rosegarden Turkish American Cultural Center:

Rosegarden Turkish American Cultural Center is a non-profit organization dedicated to intercultural dialogue. We see dialogue as a unique opportunity to know and understand people from different cultures, nations or faith.

As a branch of Pacifica Institute, Rosegarden Turkish American Cultural Center serves the Portland community by organizing educational and dialogue events throughout the year. We organize annual Friendship and Dialogue dinners , Intercultural Dialogue Trips to Turkey, Interfatih Dinners at Rosegarden, Community Picnics, Weekend and Summer Schools, and also youth camps. Through its programs Rosegarden has brought together hundreds of people from different communities, ethnic backgrounds and faiths.

Our mission is to promote cross-cultural awareness, in order to attain peace and diversity with our neighbors, help establish a better society where individuals love, respect and accept each other as they are.
