Eligibility for Services for 2012-2013 Academic Year
Eligibility for 2012-2013 Academic Year
Any PSU student taking five (5) or more non-self-support* credit hours pays the PSU Student Health fee each term. The Student Health Fee gives a student access to the services provided at the Center for Student Health and Counseling as well as the Student Health Insurance Plan administered by Aetna Student Health.
During summer term any student who was SHAC eligible in spring term can use SHAC on a fee-for-service basis. Learn about more options for Summer or for graduating seniors.

International Students
If you are an international student, you can visit the international student website for more information. You can also read about insurance options and find international insurance brochures on the SHAC International Web page.
*Most self-support, continuing education and course credits received from TV, internet, video, or satellite may not be eligible for the Student Health Fee, and therefore not eligible for the PSU nsurance Plan. If you have questions about the types of credits you are taking, visit: http://www.pdx.edu/financial-services/tuition-fees-self-support-courses. Self-support classes are often indicated in the course catalogue by the blue hyperlink footnotes found between section number and course description.
