Peer Health Education Team

The Center for Student Health and Counseling’s (SHAC) Health Promotion Department is excited to announce the creation of SHAC' Peer Health Education Team. This team will consist of four to six undergraduate and graduate students. Peer Health Educators are responsible for talking to their peers about healthy lifestyle choices. Topics may include stress management, sleep hygiene, body image, nutrition, fitness, tobacco cessation, sexual health, alcohol safety, among other things.

2014-15 Peer Education Team

Applications are currently being accepted for the 2014-15 Academic Year team, starting Fall 2014. Students need to be registered for at least six credits a term to be eligible for the position.
