Tom Hirons, PSP, is an industrial
sociologist in private practice. His research areas are the development
of electronic technology within the Human Resources Management functions
and electronic-commerce in organizational development. He holds
a B.S. degree from Portland State University, an M.A. in Organizational
Effectiveness from the Fielding Institute, and postgraduate certifications
from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in managerial technologies
and eBusiness. Tom’s academic roles have
included Director of the Graduate Management Institute at Ashland
University in Ashland, Ohio, and Director of the Human Resources
University Program for the Department of Administrative Service
for Ohio State Government. He has taught college classes at Ohio
State University, Portland State University, Ashland University,
Tiffin University, and Central Ohio Technical College. His private
sector client list includes Sprint, NCR, DANA, Longenberger, NASA,
and the United Nations. His hobbies include family, friends, and
life long fan of the Boston Red Sox.
