Study Abroad: Osaka, Japan

Osaka, Japan

Undergraduate Business Students (Majors, Minors, & Non-admitted)

The exchange program with Kansai Gaidai University (KGU) is specifically designed for PSU business students.

KGU is located midway between Osaka, Japan 's second largest commercial center and Kyoto, the ancient capital of Japan. This places KGU bridging the new Japan and the old Japan, making it a place where commerce and culture meet. The university was founded in 1945 and enrolls approximately 13,000 students. KGU has the largest international program in Japan, with more that 250 university exchange partners worldwide. Their courses are taught in English.

The exchange program offers Portland State business students the opportunity to earn 12-21 credits. The SBA will work with students to ensure that they receive the maximum possible credit toward a business degree, whether they are business majors, minors or not yet admitted into the School of Business.

Students can apply financial aid to this program.
