Undergraduate Business Students (Majors, Minors & Non-admitted)

Spend a quarter in Cologne, Germany, and take a normal class load of Portland State business classes. Classes are taught in English. Excursions are planned to the Netherlands and Belgium to study the workings of the European Union.

Dates

The program operates on the same quarter calendar as Portland State, so one could study in Cologne fall, winter, or spring terms. The program runs 11 weeks.

Courses Offered (12 to 21 credits)

Specific courses offerings vary by term (review the course schedule), but students are encouraged to register for a course load similar to the one they would take at Portland State:

  • two core business courses (i.e., BA 302 or BA 303, etc.)
  • two elective business courses
  • a German language course

Cost

The cost of the program is to be determined, but includes:

  • on-site orientation

  • medical insurance
  • local transportation pass
  • program excursions
  • free access to the Internet
  • laundry

Since this is a Portland State study abroad program, financial aid applies.
