Mark Kaltenbach is an adjunct professor teaching operations and supply chain courses in the SBA undergrad and graduate programs. Mark has worked in electronics manufacturing since 1979 and has an excellent background in managing and leading complex manufacturing operations and supplier management functions. He was with Intel Corporation for 15 years where he held a number of management positions, including plant manager/general manager (Hillsboro, Oregon), director of far east materials operations (Tokyo), director of assembly test materials operations (Chandler, Ariz.) and director of materials operations (Portland, Oregon). Mark has also worked with FormFactor, Hewlett-Packard, Digital Equipment Corporation and Cray Research. Kaltenbach is currently a principal in MMK Solutions, consulting on operations and supply chain initiatives. He holds a bachelor’s degree in engineering from Northeastern University (Boston) and a master’s degree in engineering and operations research from Cornell University.
