Faculty Facts
School of Business Administration faculty members are committed researchers on the most important business issues in the global economy.
They regularly publish in top journals in their fields and engage in research both at the forefront and the intersection of different disciplines. Recent work has appeared in the Academy of Management Journal, Journal of Applied Psychology, Journal of Business Ethics, Journal of Business Venturing, Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis, Organization Science, and Sloan Management Review, amongst other high impact publications.
Our faculty serve their disciplines through editorial leadership positions across a variety of journals: Professor David Raffo is co-editor of the Journal of Software Maintenance and Evolution and of the International Journal of Software Process: Improvement and Practice, Professor Berrin Erdogan is associate editor of the European Journal of Work and Organizational Psychology, and Professor Madeleine Pullman is an associate editor of the Journal of Supply Chain Management. In addition, collectively, the School of Business faculty holds a total of 39 editorial board positions in reputable business journals such as the Journal of Applied Psychology and the Journal of Operations Management.
In addition to their discipline-based scholarship, School of Business faculty are also active researchers in the university’s areas of distinction: social and environmental sustainability, community and civic engagement, and innovative and humane organizations. This is reflected in their most recent “Beyond Grey Pinstripes” ranking as the 14th MBA program in the world for sustainability and 1st among programs with fewer than 100 students, and the growing popularity of their perennial International Conference on Business and Sustainability.
