Dr. Zeiber joined the SBA faculty in the Spring of 1986. He has a PhD in System Science/Business Administration from PSU, MBA from the University of Montana, BS in business from Syracuse University, AA from American International College, and completed program requirements through the Yale University Institute of Far Eastern Languages in the Chinese language.
His work experiences include service as an officer in the Air Force; Chinese linguist; Personnel Officer; corporate president, vice president, and sole proprietor in different organizations; management consultant for the electric utility industry in process evaluations, in other companies as a financial analyst, and in many different business startups; and as a business professor for the College of Great Falls, University of Montana, Portland State University, and Portland Community College.
During his time at PSU, Dr. Zeiber focused his efforts on teaching and program development. Classes normally taught included Entrepreneurship, Business Strategy, Business Environment, Operations Management, and Organization Behavior. He developed and directed the SBA Internship Program and the Business Outreach Program. He also was the first director of the Weekend Business Degree Program challenged with its initiation and development.
Dr. Zeiber served as the PSU representative of the national “Invisible College” organization, became its first national “president” and was instrumental in bringing the Program to PSU as its home university where it remained for a few years.
He retired in the Summer of 2007, but occasionally returns to teach selected classes.
