Elizabeth Dreike Almer, CPA (California), received a B.S. from Santa Clara University and a Ph.D. from Arizona State University. Dr. Almer has taught courses in auditing and financial accounting at the undergraduate and graduate level, and global accounting. Her primary research interests relate to workplace issues affecting public accounting firms including work-life balance, auditor ethics, and cross-cultural and diversity issues. Her research has been published in Behavioral Research in Accounting, Auditing: A Journal of Practice and Theory, Accounting Horizons, Issues in Accounting Education, The Journal of Accountancy and numerous other journals. Dr. Almer is also a member of the AICPA Work/Life and Women's Initiatives Executive Committee.
