Elective Requirements

Some students may need to complete additional coursework outside the Weekend Business Degree program in order to meet SBA and/or University requirements.

Please make an appointment with the WBDP Program Advisor at 503-725-3089 for a review of your academic records and to determine which requirements are applicable to you. Students bear final responsibility for ensuring that the courses taken are applicable toward satisfying both SBA and University degree requirements.

Some students choose to complete the requirements for a second option in lieu of taking excess SBA electives.  Possible second options are accounting, finance, information systems, human resource management, marketing, advertising management, and supply and logistics management.   To find more, contact the Program Advisor at 503-725-3089.

Graduation Requirements

To earn a bachelor's degree in business at PSU, you must take a minimum of 180 credits of which:

1. at least 72 must be upper division (300- or 400-level)

2. at least 82 must be in business, 41 of which must be taken at PSU

3. at least 90 must be taken outside of business (effective 2002-2003 bulletin year.  Prior bulletin years require 95)
