Earl Molander, Management, has a B.S. from University of Wisconsin, an M.B.A. from Harvard University, and a Ph.D. from University of California, Berkeley. He has taught at PSU since 1975. Although he no longer teaches regular classes, Dr. Molander is founder and currently Executive Director of the Free Market Business Development Institute (FMBDI), a leading provider of business management education and training in transitional, post-socialist economies since its founding in 1989. Currently FMBDI is focused exclusively on delivering programs to students, government officials, enterprise managers and business faculty from the People’s Republic of China. FMBDI’s main program is called “Managing Processes and People in a Global Enterprise,” a year-long program delivered at PSU that offers senior-level undergraduate students from Chinese universities preparation for entry level positions in global firms and for entry into US business school MBA and MS programs.
