Calculating your GPAA grade point average (GPA) is
based on the total number of quality points earned divided by the total number
of credit hours accumulated. For determining the total number of quality points
earned, use the quality point chart below.
Step 1
Looking at the chart below, take
the number of credit hours of the course, scroll across until the column
corresponds with the grade you received and this will give you the total number
of quality points that you earned for that class. For example, a 4-credit B is
equivalent to 12 quality points. To figure your business GPA, complete this
process for all PSU courses beginning with the following prefixes: ACTG, BA,
FIN, ISQA, MGMT, or MKTG.
Step 2
Add up all of your grade points.
Step 3
Add up all accumulated business
credits.
Step 4
Divide your total quality points by the total number
of business credit hours. This will give you your total business GPA.
If you have repeated a course in which you
received a "D" or "F," use the repeat rade in the calculation and drop out the
original grade. If you have repeated a course more than once, you may drop out
the original grade only; you must use all of the repeat hours and points in the
calculation.
