Brian Ruder earned his BA in mathematics from Fort Hays State University and his MS in mathematics from Kansas State University. After teaching at Doane College, he spent five years at the CIA in scientific intelligence and worked for SRI International, consulting on business projects around the world. He spent 17 years at Visa International where among other things he managed the Visa clearing and settlement system, a number of its risk management systems and worked in member marketing. He has been active in the Portland entrepreneurial community for the last eight years and is on the Board of two companies. |
