Behzad Hosseini has
over 20 years of experience in leadership, education, and consultancy
in both the private and public sectors. He currently works as the
General Manager of Organizational Learning & Development at
Portland General Electric. Prior to this, he held leadership positions
in the Finance and Accounting, Business Decision Support, Information
Technology, and Distribution departments at PGE. His additional
professional accomplishments include experience in retail sales
management, restaurant management, as well as sought-after consulting
work for a variety of clients. He
earned his Bachelors degree in Finance and his Master of Business
Administration (MBA) from Portland State University, where he also
teaches courses in Management, Finance, and Information Technology. He
has also taught Management and Human Resources courses for University
of Phoenix and the Utility Management Certification course for
Willamette University. Behzad is active on the Portland State
University Alumni Board; SMART (Start Making A Reader Today) Board,
Oregon’s leading nonprofit early literacy organization; and has
volunteered for the Junior Achievement program for several years.
