Portland State University’s School of Architecture is proud to announce that we are launching our new Center for Public Interest Design, a research center that aims to investigate and promote design practices that are a catalyst for the social, economic and environmental change needed to serve communities both locally and worldwide.
The CPID begins its efforts with a display an exhibit of Public Interest Design work by local architects, designers, and students at Portland State University as well as University of Oregon, in partnership with a number of local non-profits.
The exhibit will be on display from May 3 to May 10 at the Mercy Corps Action Center. The exhibition kicks off with a reception with drinks and bites Friday, May 3, from 5 to 7pm at Mercy Corps. Join us!
