PSU faculty member receives international award for middle level education
Dr. Micki Caskey, Curriculum and Instruction professor in the Graduate School of Education, is the recipient of the prestigious John H. Lounsbury Award for Distinguished Service. It is the highest honor awarded by the Association for Middle Level Education (AMLE)--an international group of educators who focus on the education of children ages 10 to 14. Dr. Caskey received her award at the AMLE annual conference, held in Portland November 8. That same evening, she received a second honor, the Paul Lorain Lifetime of Service Award from the Oregon Middle Level Association.
