Dave Ervin, Economics and Environmental Science and Management faculty, has received the Fred Buttel Outstanding Scholarly Achievement Award for 2013 by the Rural Sociological Society. The award is for his co-authored article, “Commercial Science, Scientists’ Values, and University Biotechnology Research Agenda,” published in Research Policy. Ervin is also guest editing a special issue of the journal Sustainability on "Green Business: Opportunities and Challenges for Sustainability."
