PSU has made its first exchanges with University of Bologna though a new program, Atlantis, funded by the U.S. Department of Education and the European Union. This fall, two students from Bologna are enrolled at Portland State, while two PSU students are studying there. Anna Marie Fallon, University Honors faculty, will travel to Bologna in December.

The Atlantis program is a shared curriculum focused on the study of social and natural transformations of urban areas. The partner institutions are University of Bologna, University of Nottingham, and University of Denver.

Faculty application information is available by contacting Kathi Ketcheson at ketchesonk@pdx.edu. Ketcheson is coordinator/co-principal investigator for the three-year program, and is working with Ann Marie Fallon, Angela Zagarella, Anne George, and Andrea Price.
