Upcoming Events

Women's Climbing Night

Thursday, May 5 at 4-8 p.m.

Novice climbers and seasoned pros welcome. Climb in a supportive environment with the help of knowledgeable staff, meet other climbers at PSU and explore the adventures offered by the Outdoor Program. No previous experience necessary.

Community Cleanup

Thursday, May 5 at 12 p.m.

Take a study or work break and help beautify PSU. Walk, clean up trash, enjoy the outdoors and make an immediate difference. We're raffling off some great prizes to thank you for your participation.

Pride Kickball

Friday, May 6 at 12-1 p.m.

Wear your pride and relive recess with a spirited game of kickball. Join a team or root for your favorite, soak up some sunshine,and enjoy free food! Free; no registration required.

LGBTQ Spalsh Mob

Friday, May 6 at 5:30-7:30 p.m.

Queer, trans and all body-positive people are invited to Open Rec Swim where we honor and support individual identity. Two single-use, gender neutral changing/shower/toilet rooms are available in the pool area.

Nourish Wellness Fair

Wednesday, May 11 at 12-2 p.m.

Attend PSU's annual Nourish Wellness Fair to learn more about on-campus and off-campus wellness resources. Receive free acupuncture, massage, healthy food samples, gait analysis, body composition testing, fitness screenings, farmers market produce and more! FREE to all PSU students, faculty, staff and Rec Center members.

5v5 Soccer Tournament

Friday, May 13 at 5-10 p.m.

Lace up your boots and hit the pitch for this one-night 5v5 soccer tourney! Play is on small fields at Stott Field. The tournament is open to Campus Rec members and non-members and costs $15/team or $5/free agent. Register at the Member Services Desk and email for details or questions.

Spring Hours: March 28 - June 10

  • Monday - Thursday: 6 a.m. - 11 p.m.
  • Friday: 6 a.m. - 10 p.m.
  • Saturday: 8 a.m. - 8 p.m.
  • Sunday: 10 a.m. - 10 p.m.

* The pool closes 30 minutes before the rest of the facility and is closed during certain scheduled activities. See closure notices below, and check the Google calendar for specific pool/aquatics times.

Spring Hours: March 28 - June 10

  • Monday - Thursday: 6 a.m. - 10 a.m.
  • Friday: 6 a.m. - 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. - 10 p.m.

  • Sunday: 10 a.m. - 10 p.m.

Full Facility Closures

  • Monday, May 30
    The Rec Center will be closed in observance of Memorial Day
  • Friday, June 10
    The Rec Center will close at 3:30 p.m. and the pool will close at 3 p.m. so our student employees can attend our End of Year Recognition event.  

Pool Closures

  • Saturday, May 7 | 6 p.m. -10 p.m.
    Pool will be closed for lifeguard in-service training.
  • Women-Only Swim: During the following times, the pool will be open only to self-identified women and their children ages five and under: Sat. 5/21: 3-5 p.m. | Sun. 6/5: 4-6 p.m.
