that provide certification.

Workplace CPR/AED/FA

The purpose of the American Red Cross First Aid/CPR/AED program is to help participants recognize and respond appropriately to cardiac, breathing and first aid emergencies.  The courses in this program teach skills that participants need to know to give immediate care to a suddenly ill or injured person until more advanced medical personnel arrive and take over.

Bloodborne Pathogen Training

This course is designed for those who risk on-the-job exposure to blood and other bodily fluids, and to understand how Blood Born pathogens are spread.  tudents will learn how to avoid exposure and what to do if exposed to infectious materials, including cleanup procedures. The course is one of the requirement of the OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens Standard.

Lifeguard Course

The primary purpose of the Red Cross Lifeguarding program is to provide entry-level lifeguard participants with the knowledge and skills to prevent, recognize and respond to emergencies and to provide care for injuries and sudden illnesses until emergency medical services (EMS) personnel arrive and take over.

Lifeguard Instructor Course

This course teaches participants how to instruct the American Red Cross Lifeguarding Course, which includes: Lifeguarding, CPR, First Aid, BBP and Oxygen Administration. Participants must be able to pass the LG, CPR and First Aid written exams and demonstrate all required skills in order to participate in this course.

Certified Pool and Spa Operator

This course is designed to teach participants how to manage and operate public swimming pools and spas.  This is a national certification from the National Swimming Pool Foundation. Please note that the course is math-intensive. At no point will participants be getting in the water. Participants should bring: pen/pencil, paper, highlighter, scratch paper, a calculator and lunch/lunch money.

Wilderness First Responder Recertification

Wilderness First Responder (WFR) is the definitive course in medical training for outdoor educators, guides, SAR team members, and others who work or play in remote areas. The curriculum is comprehensive and practical, including all of the essential principles and skills required to assess and manage medical problems in isolated and extreme environments. To enroll, please register at the National Outdoor Leadership School website.
