Dexcription: Fencing in the Olympic sport of swordfighting. Two competitors face off in a "bout" on a narrow metallic strip and compete to score points on each other with their weapons. To beat an opponent, a fencer must use bladework, footwork, tactics and strategy. Fencing bouts are characterized by flurries of speed, highly aerobic movements, and lightning-fast blade movements.
Meeting Times:
Fall: The Fencing club starts practice again on the first week of school. They will meet Tuesdays and Fridays from 5-7 pm. Tuesday practices are in the range room and Friday practices are in the dance room.
