Campus Rec requires that all students wishing to drive on behalf of their club complete a driving training program to promote safe travel. All Driver Trainings will take place in 47 SMSU (Rec Clubs Office).

The driving training program consists of the following steps:

1. Attend a driver training session no later than 10 days prior to travel (remember to bring your drivers license).

2. Complete and sign the Driver Registration and Liability Release Forms (which includes a Motor Vehicle Record check)

3. Complete the online Alert Driving coursework within the required timeframe. Passing required a score of at least 90% on the Large Passenger Van Trainings and 100% on the Policy Test.

4. Receive Motor Vehicle Record approval from the Rec Clubs Advisor. Approval is valid for TWO years, pending annual driver verification check.
