Campus Rec Student Coordinator Leadership Series
To meet the Campus Rec goal of fostering student employees’ academic and career achievements by creating the expectation of balance between workplace and academic success and increasing career preparation, Campus Rec has created the 2012-13 CREC Student Coordinator Leadership Series. This leadership opportunity provides Campus Rec student coordinators an opportunity to develop their leadership skills, create connections with other student leaders within Campus Rec and to receive professional development to help them in current and future employment.
The series consists of CREC workshops, campus wide leadership events, and serving on an approved CREC committee. Student Coordinators are expected to attend 3 of the 6 events: one CREC event, one campus wide event, and a third of their choosing. Time spent participating in these events is paid. If they choose to do so, students may choose to attend more than 3.
