Aquatics Merchandise is Now Available!

The Aquatics program at Portland State is run by Campus Recreation and managed by our student leaders.

Our main priority is making sure to have a safe environment with certified lifeguards. The Aquatics Center is used for PE classes, open swimming, faculty swimming, family swimming, water aerobics, and swim lessons. Check out our schedule online to find what works best for you to drop by.

To use the Aquatics Center you must pay the locker room fee in the Peter Stott Center. All access to the Center is through the locker rooms.

Aquatics - Open Swim

Open swim is designated for lap swimming. There are 7 lanes available for lap swimming. Swimmers are asked to present a pool pass to the life guarding staff. Pool passes are available in the cage area, located in the locker rooms.

Swim Lessons

Swim Lessons are available for all levels of ability and experience. To set up a private swim lesson please email us at aquatics@pdx.edu and let us know what you are looking for in your lesson. We will then set you up with an instructor from our life guarding staff. From there you will arrange with the instructor a time that works for both of your schedules. We do not have set lesson times in the Aquatics schedule but lessons will take place during ?Open Swim? hours. After the lesson(s) are set up you can purchase private swim lesson ticket in the cage area of the locker rooms. Please bring your ticker with you to the lesson. Prices are available in the cage area.
