Master in Real Estate Development
The MRED Program is in the process of being approved by the Oregon University System. Portland State University’s Master in Real Estate Development (MRED) program offers students a multidisciplinary approach to studying real estate. By studying urban theory, finance, policy, and project development, real estate development students graduate with a comprehensive education enabling them to immediately contribute to the real estate development community.
Graduate Certificate in Real Estate Development
The graduate certificate program has been designed to build the technical and analytical knowledge of those who wish to enter the real estate industry as well as further develop the skills of industry professionals. Areas of study include real estate development, housing economics, and real estate finance and investments. Ideally, students enrolled in the program will possess a Bachelors' degree in Business Administration, Community Development, or related social science disciplines. Supplementary coursework to prepare students for entry into the Certificate Program is available within the University's standard course offerings. Because certificate courses are offered at the graduate level, credit can be subsequently transferred into Masters and PhD programs at Portland State University.
