Amanda Newberg came to PSU because of the Urban atmosphere and the great political involvement of Portland. Currently she is involved in ASPSU because she wanted to become involved around campus. She wanted to meet new people and make an impact on students. She believes that being involved in your surroundings is very important. She believes that every student has the power to make a big difference in the day to day running of PSU if they only knew it.
Amanda is currently a sophomore and is currently pursuing a double major in History and International Studies with a focus in the Middle East. Her career goal is to one day become a Foreign Service Officer and to work in Embassies in the Middle East.
