Student leader with a history of activism.
Erin Devaney is a junior working toward a B.A. in History with a minor in French. She has lived in the Portland area all her life, with the exception of being born in Nebraska. She is currently a Student Senator and a Student Fee Committee Member.
Erin has been political ever since she could carry a picket sign and has obtained her passion for politics and organizing from growing up in a Union household. She became involved in Student Government because of her concern in the widening class gap and has been a strong advocate of accessibility for the working class in her two years at PSU.
Erin has been heavily involved in school politics as well as local, state and federal politics. She often struggles with being an intellectual at Portland State, but refines her talents and expertise to benefit the students at large.
